In a session, we begin with what you’re aware of – a thought, a feeling, or something you’d like to change.
Using gentle tapping on points on the body, we bring attention to that experience. Often, as we do this, deeper layers begin to emerge. A feeling. A memory. A response that has been held for some time – sometimes in the body, sometimes in how we think or react.
We work with whatever arises, at a pace that feels manageable.
What EFT can support
EFT can be helpful for:
habits or behaviours that feel difficult to change
cravings or addictive patterns
anxiety or recurring emotional responses
fears or phobias
unhelpful thoughts or beliefs
tension or physical symptoms linked to stress
Not by forcing change, but by working with what is sitting underneath.
Sessions are guided, but flexible. Some people stay more with thoughts and beliefs. Others begin to notice how things feel in the body.
There’s no right way. We follow what is most accessible for you. People often notice:
a reduction in intensity
more space around thoughts or urges
a shift in how something feels – emotionally or physically
A way in
For some people, EFT is a helpful place to begin. Especially if working directly with the body feels unfamiliar, or if what you’re experiencing shows up more through thoughts, habits or behaviours.
It can offer a way of approaching things gently, without needing to go straight into deeper body-based work. From here, if it feels right, we can explore other ways of working.
A note: EFT is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. If you are experiencing ongoing physical symptoms, please seek support from a qualified professional.
