To gain the most benefit from your session:
- Increase your water intake to assist detoxification and healing.
- Allow time to rest after the session.
- Reduce your consumption of alcohol/caffeine for 24 hours.
You may experience a range of responses. These are beneficial, mostly pleasant and short lived:
- Feeling sleepy or tired with improved sleep.
- Feeling weepy/emotional due to the release of tension or emotions.
For bodywork sessions, you may additionally experience:
- Increased warmth due to improved circulation.
- Increase in urination due to the body releasing toxins.
- Aching and sore muscles, this can last a few days but followed by a relief from muscular tension. To reduce the
soreness, take a hot bath before bed. - Feeling less stressed and more relaxed.
Over a few days these any symptoms should relieve as your body balances after the session.
