A gentle, body-led approach to health and wellbeing
A space where the body can be felt, expressed, and gently met – so that what has been held can begin to soften.
This work is about coming into relationship with your body. Not through fixing, but through listening to it.
Whether you are experiencing ongoing symptoms, or simply feel a sense of disconnection or unease, we begin in the same place.
With the body.
With what is here, now.
A different way of approaching health
Many people come to this work because something in their body doesn’t feel quite right.
There may be pain, tension, digestive discomfort, anxiety or a general sense that something is off, even if it’s hard to explain.
Often, we try to manage or make sense of these experiences. To identify the cause, or find the right way to fix them. That is completely understandable.
But sometimes, what we find beneath this is something quieter. We may begin to notice that the body has adapted in response to what we’ve experienced – and that it can continue to hold this, long after the moment has passed. Not because our body is a problem that needs to be fixed, but because something hasn’t yet been fully felt, expressed or listened to.
Over time, this can show up as ongoing symptoms, tension, or a sense of unease.
In this way, the body isn’t working against us, it is trying to communicate. Sometimes, what it needs is not more fixing, but to be met, with attention and care.
What this work is
This work is a space to come into contact with your body, in a way that feels safe and supported.
Rather than trying to fix or analyse what is happening, we begin with your present experience. You are gently guided to notice sensation, to stay with it, and to simply listen to your body, without needing to change anything.
Sometimes this is quiet and subtle. Sometimes more begins to move. The focus is not on finding the “right” answer, but on allowing your body to be met in a way it may not have been before.
Over time, this can begin to soften what is held and create space for something new to emerge.
How we work
Sessions are guided and we follow your experience at your pace.
This may include moments of conversation, as well as time to pause, notice, and feel what is present in your body. You might be invited to bring gentle awareness to a sensation, to stay with it, or to describe what you notice.
Sometimes, as you connect with your body, memories, thoughts, or emotions may arise. This isn’t something we need to search for, but when it does, we stay with the felt experience, rather than analysing it.
At times, simple body-based tools or somatic techniques may be used to support this process – helping you to stay with what is there, or to settle after something has shifted.
There is no pressure to get anywhere or reach any particular outcome. We begin with what is here and allow the process to unfold from there.
What might arise
Each session is different, but you may notice:
- Sensations in the body
- Emotions
- Memories or images
- A sense of release or softening
Or sometimes, very little at all. All of this is welcome.
There is no need to go into the story unless you want to. We don’t need to go looking for anything. But if something from the past arises, it can be part of the body’s way of processing what has been held.
Even resistance, numbness, distraction, or not knowing what you feel can be a valid place to begin.
Some people also choose to work with the body through hands-on sessions, where touch can support this process in a different way – explore somatic bodywork.
Working together
If you’re curious about this approach, you’re welcome to begin with a conversation, or book a session directly.
A chance to ask questions, and to get a feel for whether this approach feels right for you.
A 75-minute guided session to connect with your body and explore what may be held, at your own pace.
